"Each scarf is hand woven on a 4-harness loom using overshot – a weaving process in which the warp threads 'float' creating a more 3-dimensional pattern than traditional weaving. The pattern was found in an old book in the University Archives, and is listed at the time as being hung in the Philadelphia Museum of Art."
